Preview an Assignment

Preview an assignment to see its content and rules for submission and scoring.

Note The assignment previewer does not grade answers. To interact with the assignment as students would, schedule the assignment, click View As Student, and open the scheduled assignment.
  1. Preview the assignment from different places in WebAssign:
    • In the Assignment Editor, click Preview.
    • On the Schedule page, click the assignment name in the Assignments list.
    • On your My Classes or My Assignments page, click view next to the assignment name.
    The assignment preview opens in a new tab.
  2. In the Assignment Previewer you can:
    To do this Do this
    View the answer key Turn on Show Answer Key .
    Randomize questions Click Show New Randomization.
    Make changes to your assignment Click Edit Assignment.

    Not shown if opened from the Assignment Editor.
    View a question's parts, points, or used submissions Click Details next to a question.
    Open question parts If available, in a question, click open part.
    Review learning materials If available, under Additional Materials, click either Reading or Watching.
Note Press Ctrl+P to print your preview.
